"The Kosher Capones" with the Chicago Jewish Historical Society

2:00 PM - 3:00 PMJoin the Chicago Jewish Historical Society for a live Zoom program with scholar Joe Kraus, who will offer a dynamic presentation on a fascinating part of Chicago’s Jewish history: the world of Jewish organized crime in the Windy City, from the Prohibition Era to the 1980s. Kraus, a former editor of the Society’s Chicago Jewish History, is the author of the recently published “The Kosher Capones: A History of Chicago’s Jewish Gangsters” (Cornell University Press). He is also Professor of English and Chair of the Department of English and Theatre at the University of Scranton.
