Expanding Our Libraries: Sharing Books on Grief while Caring for One Another with JCFS
Thursday, January 21, 2021 • 8 Shevat 5781
7:00 PM - 8:00 PMHave you discovered a book about grief that has been meaningful to you in your grief journey? Whether your loss is recent or several years ago, we invite you to share a title or author whose work has spoken to you. Or ask about one you’ve been considering. It can be fiction, nonfiction, poetry or prose.
JCFS will also bring books from our library along with a bibliography and other grief resources for further exploration. In our time together we will learn and support one another in the grief process. And if you wish, prepare your most comforting cup of coffee or tea to enjoy.
The discussion will be co-led by Marsha Raynes, Program Manager, Adoption, Infertility and Bereavement Support; and Carol Brumer Gliksman, Chaplaincy Coordinator/Community Educator.
